Community
I will protect our parks and other green spaces to ensure that they are safeguarded for the next generation. I will support the creation of a wildlife corridor along the river valley to protect local wildlife.
Property Taxes
I will work to keep taxes as low as possible to ensure that you are receiving value for money. I will work with the internal auditor to perform core service reviews of public services and ensure that our tax dollars are spent wisely. I will also work towards a maximum tax increase of 1.5% per year through found efficiencies.
Infrastructure
I will work to complete the twining of Ray Gibbon Drive and Bellerose Drive. This needs to be a focus and we can not afford to continue to wait for other levels of government to recognize this. The lobbying of the provincial government can occur while we address these pressing traffic issues today.
Since 1993
St. Albert is a great place to live, work and raise a family. That is why I am seeking a seat on City Council. I want to ensure that St. Albert remains the best city in Alberta to live.
